I. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY

In compliance with current legislation, Quality Support for Teachers (hereinafter, also the “Website”) undertakes to adopt the necessary technical and organisational measures appropriate to the level of risk associated with the personal data collected.


Applicable Data Protection Legislation

This Privacy Policy is adapted to the current Spanish and European regulations on the protection of personal data online, including in particular:

 

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

  • Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

  • Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).

Personal Data Processing Record

In accordance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, Quality Support for Teachers maintains an internal record of processing activities describing, for each processing purpose, the type of data processed, the legal basis, retention periods, and the technical and organisational security measures applied.


Principles Applicable to the Processing of Personal Data

The processing of the User’s personal data shall be subject to the principles set out in Article 5 of the GDPR and in the LOPDGDD, namely:

  • Purpose limitation: data will be collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes.

  • Data minimisation: only data strictly necessary for the stated purposes will be processed.

  • Integrity and confidentiality: data will be processed securely to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure.

  • Accountability: the Data Controller is responsible for compliance with these principles.



Categories of Personal Data

The only categories of personal data processed by Quality Support for Teachers are identification and contact data (such as name and email address).

No special categories of personal data as defined in Article 9 of the GDPR are processed.


Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis for processing personal data is the explicit consent of the User, granted through the relevant forms on the Website.

The User may withdraw their consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent shall be as easy as granting it and shall not affect the lawful use of the Website.

Where personal data is requested through forms, the User will be informed if providing certain data is mandatory due to its necessity for responding to the request or enquiry.


Purposes of Processing

Personal data is collected and processed by Quality Support for Teachers for the following purposes:

 

  • To respond to enquiries or requests submitted via the Website.

In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, the User will be informed without undue delay, in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR.

All personal data is treated as confidential, and this obligation extends to any individuals or service providers who may have access to such data.


Rights of the User

The User may exercise the following rights in accordance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD:

  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to data portability

  • Right to object

  • Right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, including profiling

Links to Third-Party Websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites not operated by Quality Support for Teachers. These websites have their own privacy policies and are solely responsible for their data-processing practices.

If the User considers that their personal data has been processed in breach of applicable data-protection laws, they have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

In Spain, the competent authority is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos – AEPD).

Use of the Website implies acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Quality Support for Teachers reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in order to comply with legal, regulatory or interpretative changes. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.

This Privacy Policy has been updated in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
